835. The Tug of War..

A cool breeze touched me, just now, this dawn..

While I kissed the fresh, soft sun rays with a yawn,

They all lay scattered on my bed, showering smiles upon..

The breeze tried to distract me towards it, to talk to me,

Tried to tell me something in a hush hush voice..

The sun rays adamant, turned towards it, said, “no noise”..

They caressed my hair, embraced me with warmth..

The breeze pulled me towards it, applying a bit force,

The sun rays, all together, looked at it with rounded eyes..

The breeze, cool, knew it’ll take some time for it to warm up,

They stepped back, turned towards their father, the Sun..

Pleaded him to call some of them back, to lower their power,

The Sun smiled, obeyed to the early morning breeze..

Knowing, along with warmth, staying cool is what we all need !!
