698. Bird with a broken beak..

While waiting for me..

to come with their food,

in the terrace..

the birds, I found..

discussing something..

very seriously, they chirping..

seeing me, quiet, they all went,

as I asked, “What happened..??”

Graceful steps, a look so sober..

a beautiful pigeon came near,

“there’s a cute little bird, sweet..

with a broken beak, it can’t eat,

others chirping out loud..

don’t you know, you aren’t like us

among us you aren’t allowed..

just go out, go out..!!”

“No one letting it have..

the food, which there you shared,

I can’t see it suffer,

I want, it too, to be fed..

please, please, please..

me, can you help..??

Others, hooting me out,

leave it and fly, I just couldn’t.”

“Yeah sure, why not,” I replied..

both of us, went ahead,

seeing me, all the others fled..

this cute little life, a kind heart,

took up a beak full of grain,

went near the poor one,

poured it inside its mouth..

through its beak, half broken..!!

A bit exaggerated, but this real life incident took place in front of my eyes, today, which left me totally speechless. Such little acts of kindness do exist today too., perhaps, found very rare in our human world, but everywhere around Nature for sure.!!

– Someone too busy loving Nature.
